Commercial Roofing
Lifetime Roofing opened a commercial roofing and flat roofing division to manage all low-slope projects. Our team has worked with many contractors throughout the Salt Lake Valley to install low-slope and flat commercial roofing. Lifetime Roofing is certified to use TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer), and Gaco. All of these, with the exception of Gaco, products can be grouped together into one term called a single-ply membrane roofing system. A majority of our low-slope roofing material is supplied by Johns Manville and Versico to ensure a quality roofing system is installed. Lifetime Roofing prefers to use PVC when working on a flat roof and low slope roofing system. The fire rating goes up significantly when compared to the other materials and it is oftentimes a more reliable product over time. Many public schools in the United States of America use PVC due to the lifetime of the product and fire resistance.
Commercial Roofing Contractors
Lifetime Roofing is proud to work with many local Utah contractors to ensure a quality roof is installed correctly. We work closely with many local Utah contractors such as Maverix Contracting, Center Point Construction, and Kier Construction Corporation.
A few of Lifetime Roofing’s projects are as follows:
- Salt Lake City Public Library (Salt Lake City, Utah)
- Marmalade Library (Salt Lake City, Utah)
- Layton City Public Works (Layton, Utah)
- Summit County Multi-Purpose Building (Coalville, Utah)

- Crescent Senior Living Center (Sandy, Utah)
Lifetime Roofing’s commercial roofing division is primarily focused on commercial new construction, commercial re-roof, and commercial roofing repair jobs. However, Lifetime Roofing is proud to work on any single-ply residential homes.
When hiring a single-ply roofing contractor you want a company that has experience and certifications to ensure the job is done correctly. Lifetime Roofing is the company you can count on to get your low-slope roof installed correctly and with the right warranty.
Commercial Roof Repair
We are able to repair any flat or low-slope commercial roofing. We primarily use Gaco for minor repairs and to fix any roof leaks. Gaco is a silicone roof coating system that Lifetime Roofing uses for repairs as it is less expensive than performing a full recovery or re-roof. Any tears in a low slope roof can be patched, with confidence, using Gaco. One of the more common reasons for roof leaks on a low-slope roof is pooling. Pooling is when water builds up over time because it has no way of properly draining. A roofing system needs to be able to drain to ensure the longevity of the roof.
Commercial Roof Installation
We have three crews dedicated entirely to flat roof and low slope roofing installation. Each of our crews are certified from Johns Manville and Versico to install the roofing system. All of our material is bought in Utah locally at Beacon Roofing Supply in Ogden, Utah.
A mechanically fastened roofing installation is the more common single-ply membrane roofing system. A mechanically fastened roofing installation is when the roofing membrane is welded to the insulation fasteners A mechanically fastened roof is oftentimes less expensive and a faster installation than fully adhered. The roofing system is attached directly to the deck of the building. It can be done in cold weather without any issues to the roofing system.
A fully adhered roofing installation is when the roofing membrane is glued to the substrate board or roofing deck of the project. Lifetime Roofing is able to offer hail warranties for up to three inches in diameter and wind warranties in excess of one hundred miles per hour. With a fully adhered roofing system, there are no screws or plates visible on the final product. A fully adhered roofing system has a proven track record of being a durable and long-lasting roof.
Lifetime Roofing complies with all Utah codes to make sure the insulation is properly installed on all commercial single-ply roofing systems and residential homes. We use a range of products including rigid insulation, board insulation, Polyiso, EPS, and OlyBond. These insulation products will help regulate the temperature inside the building or home. Ultimately driving down the cost of heating and cooling over time. Contact our office in North Salt Lake, UT to start your commercial roofing with us today.
